Media mogul Rupert Murdoch has listed his New York penthouse for an eye-watering $US72 million ($92.4 million).
The super penthouse comprises the top three floors of a 60-storey luxury tower overlooking Madison Square Park.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Murdoch paid $US57.25 million for the penthouse as well as a three-bedroom apartment on level 57 in February 2014.
He then commissioned architect Jose Ramirez to fit out the 636-square-metre spread.
The building is yet to be completed, but according to the marketing material the five-bedroom residence will feature “a double height Great Room with a sweeping staircase” as well as a private internal elevator.
Other perks that come with being a resident of the One Madison building include a full-time doorman and concierge, an indoor pool, steam room, fitness centre, lounge, parlour, screening room and dining room.
The penthouse is being sold through Dolly Lenz of Dolley Lenz Real Estate.
Murdoch, who is chairman of News Corp and 21st Century Fox, is reportedly planning to hold on to his apartment on level 57 but will move to a townhouse he bought for $US25 million last month further downtown.
Earlier this year he sold his Beverly Hills mansion to his youngest son James Murdoch for $US30 million.
According to Forbes, the 84-year-old is currently worth an estimated $13.5 billion.
